My 1996 seadoo xp keeps backfiring.
I just rebuilded my 1996 sea doo xp. It has a R&D rec. head on it and a pair of prok flamearrestors. Its starts up in a breeze. It revs up half throttle with no issues, but if I give it more then half to full throttle, the engine starts to backfires alot. The carbs are stock and no chances done to it. do I have to adjust or chance anything else like jetting or chance the pop off pressure? Or is it best just to put the stock flame arrestors back on it? Any info is welcome
