    oil in cyclinder??

i de-winterized my ski last week and everything seemed well.. i cleared the cyclinders adn the ski started up first try.. it smoked a bit but i figured it was just excess flogging fluid getting burnt up.. it stopped smoking after about a minute of idle.. the idle was perfedt and it sounded great.. i pulled the plugs to do a comp test and noticed a little extra oil In #3(closest to front).. comp test checked out great about 125 across the board give or take 1 or 2.. so today i got new plugs and fired it up again with no problems.. same thing as before with a little more oil on #3.. so i cleared the cyclinder again and repeated the process with the same end results.. So i did another comp test and it came out the same.. Should i be worried?? what about bad spark in #3 and that extra oil/fuel isnt being burnt?? thanks alot

I dunno, but I don't want you to get discouraged!

How's the speed? On my Polaris triple, when it fell from 45 to 30, that was a sign that I'd lost a cylinder. If speed is normal, I'd guess that it's just your oil injection that is leaking, and that cylinder is the lowpoint.

I'm a big fan of premix, although one of my skis is still injected.

i may have to look into this pre-mix deal.. i havent had it in the water yet so im not to sure about any speed lose.. i was thinking maybe that cylinder just gets more oil cause its closest to the tank but im still a noob when it comes to jetski's.. once i get to ride it ill have a better idea of whats going on.. thanks for the info

Your ski is probably fine just take it out and ride it carry extra plugs with you just in case. Mine always look bad on the hose but they are fine if you do a plug chop. Btw going premix isnt a good option on the ultra the oil pump feeds the carbs and the balancers.
