R&D Cam Gear Kit for FZR

Does anyone run this kit and if so, your opinion?

noticed a bit of mid range pull on the s2 setting with a C3 wheel, Yet to try it on s3 with the C19 value for money its a reasonably cheap mod to get those extra rpm.
I like R&D's over the riva gears, Personally i think theres too many parts that may come loose with the Riva quick adjust some will disagree,
keep it simple set it and forget it.

I have run both brands on stock, low boost, and hi boost engines. I prefer the R&D for the same reason Slapya said.

Had that ever happened to anyone with the Rva kit?

I'm not really looking for RPMs per say. I am more interested in the power from narrowing the LSA. Let me know if you run S3 as that is what I am most interested in.

There have been some cases where the riva's have come loose in motors but its not a common problem.

HITMAN done a fair bit of playing around with the R&D gears theres a thread somewhere on his findings.

i did notice a substantial increase over stock in mid range pull on the S2 when the trigger was pulled. If thats what your after then the gears are it. if i was doing this for the first time with a wheel and tune i would just put it straight on S3

The only problem is that I am running R2 so I am curious about the timing since it says it is best to run R3 with it. I am going to call R&D on Monday.

I would think your safer with the R2.....thought timing was less on that flash
