    rxt260

I have a 2013 rxt260, trying to get a ride plate but keep closed loop. Where do I get a heat exchaner?

Why not have your own plate modified. This will allow you to keep your closed loop

How would a heat exchanger being inside the hull even cool? Seems like it would cook everything around it and be a pain. I would send your stock plate to Jim to put his closed loop ride plate mod on it and be done with it.

The same way your IC is getting cooled. Only diff is the engine coolant is isolated from the pump water. The HX has 4 lines, two are closed loop and two are open loop.

I would have gone HX if I could keep a waterpump from bursting (spinning 8.9-9K). Don't want to repeat that again...

I've read that you'll see more with a open loop plate, so was thinking about getting that but installing the heat exchanger inside hull. Good idea or no? Or just settle with closed loop mod?

IMO: If you don't plan to spin motor above 8500-8600rpm, stick with closed loop.

    Good luck...ya gonna need it

How long you've been running that rpm?

Are you running the stock 190' thermostat or Riva 160' kit?
