    Riva gen3 intercooler leaking

So it's taken me 2weeks to get to the bottom of the surging issue with my GTR, I had a mechanic look at the ski and he told me straight up it was the Athena ecu and the id1000cc injectors so I replaced them with a les cooke reflashed ecu and 60lb Injectors, changed the oil, new plugs, new ignition coils new filter and still the same surging problem, so today finally found the problem The Riva Gen3 intercooler which has less than 5hrs on it is leaking!

Has any one else had their faulty intercoolers replaced by Riva?

Big thanks to Slasher and Aussie Paully for all your help.

I am sure Riva will give you a new one mate, then you can finally get out there and enjoy!

Yes, mine was just replaced with about 8 months of use. I first sent it to them to perform a pressure test because I noticed a lot of water coming out of the air intake tube. Luckily my engine wasn't damaged but now I pressure test my cooler before I lay the machine up for storage.

I hope so mate, I've just done 4 oil changes and pulled the intercooler out so it's ready to be shipped off to Riva for a replacement. Cheers

Thats good to hear mate, by the sounds of things Riva are looking after their customers and have handled this issue well. I just hope I haven't done any damage to my engine, only time will tell.

That sucks mate, but at least you found the issue.
I thought you had the IC checked?

Now chuck that SDC ecu out and get that Athena gear back on

I will ring around tomorrow and see what I can pick up. Sayers I did check the throttle
body and intercooler piping for water last week but it seemed to be dry then today Pauly
told me to run the ski on the hose disconnect the piping to the throttle body and give it a few squirts and there it was water spitting out.
