How to get this gas spring (shock) out of the front (and rear) storage compartment.

The mechanism is absolutely clear - but how can I pull it out, when the cover is close.
Because only when the cover is close, the flat sides from the bolt are in shape to get out easy.
And by the way - I have to pull more than the gas shock is pressing anyway.

I have a service manual, that say:
1.cut locking tie retaining the bellows of gas shock
    2. move bellows downward
    3. unscrew gas shock from its upper attachement.

But I see nothing what I can unsrew - there are no screws nowhere!!!!

    Can somebody help me?

Typically the gas spring has threaded ends. The parts on each end screw onto the threads of the gas spring rod and body.

Can you rotate the body (or polished rod) of the gas spring to unscrew it from the end fitting?

Oh damm!!!! Thanks a lot - thanks a lot - THATS IT !

First I try to spin around with all the power of my two hands. No way.
Then I get so much anry about this damm thing - and I take a big alligator wrench and a rubber base.
I hear a hard click... - I think it is broken... - but everything is ok ! - I see a thread is spinning out - Perfekt!
    Thanks K447
