I am pretty sure the seats will swap out.

The 310R seat will fit your 300X. A friend of mine has done the same on his 2012 300X.

I would of looked into doing the same if I didnt get a custom JetTrim cover for my 300X.
They say the black on the 310R seats is heat proof, does anyone have experience with one?

I think he means it won't get hot from the sun.

The new seats certainly stay a lot cooler than the older ones, couple weeks ago on a real hot day I could barely touch an ld style seat and the 310 ones were a lot less hot

These aftermarket covers like Jettrim and Hydroturf are definitely more comfortable and less slippery than that OEMplastic but remember any black seat is gonna absorb sun heat a little more than a lighter color...

The new stock seats are just as good or better than aftermarket seat covers and are no longer slippery like the old seats with the exception of the 310X. The SE, LX, and R models seats are excellent.
They are also much cooler to the touch in hot weather/sun.
Huge improvements were made in these seats.
