Thread: Moving South
04-12-2007, 08:30 PM #1
I live in Iowa. I have deep roots here, family farm, extended family etc. I hate cold weather. I am interested in possibly moving south sometime in the next 5-10 years. I have 3 years experience woodworking/cabinetry making. I also have 5 years current experience and part owner of a small business in the Water/Waste Water field. Anyone have suggestions on where to live/ where not to live? I'm thinking the carolinas or florida, georgia also sounds nice... I've heard good things about Texas. Just looking for people w/ the same interests that might possibly be willing to help w/ information and possibly even job openings. I have a wastewater license here in Iowa. Just curious to see what is out there

All I can say is, "GOD Bless Texas". We have more refugees we will be sending that way with Road Home money!
