Any drawbacks to running VForce reeds on a TXi / DI ski?

Like the title says, will I experience any issues with running VForce Delta (1st gen) reeds on a DI ski?
I don't think it will affect the AFR any, but from what I've read will help the chrispness of the throttle.

You can run them, but I don't know how much difference they will make

If you decide to use them, is there a way you can provide before and after comparisons?

No, my motor is down right now, and I'd like to put them in while it's apart. I have only ridden this ski once 3-4 years ago so I have nothing to go on.

A cheaper alternative and one that works just as well is to get the reed cages from a Polaris Fusion sled. I have a set in my X 45 and they work great. WIthout the hassles of carbon fiber reed petals. You will have to cut slots in the back side of the intake manifold to accommodate the reed cages though

They tend to wear out/chip corners a lot quicker than the fiberglass ones do.

I think that's a lot easier/faster bryan, I was gonna do that too, but went the other way and cut in about a half inch on
either side of the center bar on the reed. For 2 reasons, 1- figured if there were any issues I could pull them out
and put the v-force or std. ones back in without any damage to manifold, even though there are plenty of manifolds
out there still at a reasonable price. 2- I have other skis with the domestic engines, so it would be easy just to pop them
in without cutting in to all the manifolds......I know its half dozen of one, six of the other, but seemed like the lesser
of the two evils to me

They were used in a lot of models and years, such as the 2006 600 H.O. Fusion. Reed valve assembly part number is 1202698. You will need three. Reed stuffer part number is 5436121. You will need 6 as they are 2 per cylinder.

If you decide to go with the VF-3's, the 1200's can use the V-force 3 reeds [V3132-883A-2] for the 2006 600 H.O. Fusion snowmobile without modification. You'll need 1 1/2 sets though, as the 600 Fusion is a twin cylinder vs. your triple.
