Seadoo 2006 rxp advice
i really need some advice here. My mate has a 2006 rxp and the charger has shot the rear needle bearing on the charger. We have pulled the oil pump apart and found signs of metal fragments through out and scored internals of the oil pump. We know we will need to do all bearing and new oil pump but just wondering has anyone experienced with any wear on the bore of the Pistons . Any advice would be great please..

It's happen to me, I still open motor up inspected everything. I sent oil pump out for machining they were beat, I check the cylinder walls and they were fine (I gave them a light hone "deglaze" and put new rings on) all new bearing. I was deep in it to clean it all out...

Yeah I guess its better to be safe than sorry, We will pull it apart and see what it looks like inside and hopefully no scorch marks on the cylinders. Cheers for your input Danetwork!!!!!!!!!

Must be 06 rxp bad luck week. Going through the same thing with mine right now. Lost the gear. Going to have to split the cases to find the last five needles. Pumps look rough also but doesn't look as if something solid went through there like a needle. Might as well replace the chain and inspect the main bearings while its apart.
