Boat Show Review and Impressions
Well, I went to the boat show today to check out the new Sea-Doos and Yamahas, and these are my impressions:
- I was stunned at the poor quality of assembly of the models on display and some of the materials used on the Sea-Doos, like OMG! The Yamahas' appeared much better built and refined.
- For the most part, the new color scheme for the Sea-Doos looked just as bad in person as it did on photos. The Yamaha colors were... well, much more refined.
- Nothing beats the Sea-Doos when it comes to ergonomics... the Yamahas are just simply not in the game compared to Sea-Doos.

So your only comments are that seadoos quality sucks and so do their colors but Yamaha is not in the game?? One can only assume you are bipolar? Lol

I didnt see any problem with what he said. The Sea Doos are nice looking skis with butt ugly colors. The Yamahas are butt ugly skis with nice colors. Which do you pick?
I never got the impression of cheap materials on the Sea Doo.

No Kawis at the Vancouver boat show, lots at the bike show
I was disappointed at both the Yami and BRP displays as they did not have one of every model there, Yami was missing the FXZSXVHOOOO or whatever there fast two seater is and BRP only had the lower end models and one RXP-X, lots of Sparks of course

All 3 brands were represented at the Toronto Boat Show...
Kawi section had 3 or 4 skis in a dark corner of the show, not very impressed with their display..... uhh nice speakers
Yamaha section was ok, most models were there but no FZR (2nd year in a row)... the sales people were taking turns with me like a $2 hooker, they must have been bored because I was hounded by almost all of them and actually had to leave as it got too much. Some of the least knowledgeable sales staff I've ever seen as well... quite sad that Yamaha will not train their "representatives".
Seadoo.... well the colours in their section resembled the gay pride parade, but they had every model there and were in a nice large area with a cool looking display set up.
