    Starter Delay

Is there a delay built into the MPEM on 1999 GTX RFI? Seems like I have to hold down the start button for 2 seconds for it to engage the solenoid.
I haven't put a meter on it yet to check though. Sometimes it spins and sometimes it starts and stops. Could be starter, but just trying to figure is out.

    Could the solenoid be dying?

Yeah. I thought of that. It is relatively new. But who knows. It has a good battery and when it spins the starter, it turns fast.

I'll try to put voltmeter on the solenoid imputs tomorrow and see if it has 12 volts exactly when I push button.

Check your grounds for a clean corrosion free connection. Could be an issue.

I have noticed that on some of the RFI's and the DI machines. It never seems to cause any other issues though.

I see this with switch (on the bars) failures. This is typically the beginning, and will continue to get worse.

That makes sense, just worn out or corroded contacts probably.
