    New motor; no start

I have just installed a new motor in my sltx 1050. New stator, new CDI, rebuilt carbs, static timed, fresh gas. I get spark but won't fire. I have 12v when cranking. I need an answer. I have sprayed pre-mix in carbs when cranking to no avail.

You sure you have spark with the plugs in?

How good is your battery? You need greater than 10.6v at the battery WHILE cranking for the ignition (spark) system to work. Check your grounds also.

    Cheers!

Ck. spark w/spark tester; Battery is 11.8-12.6 while cranking.

Is timing specs the same for new stator upgrade as old one? Do I need to do the orange wire connection on the CDI box? Do I need to remove the small Black wire from the neg. batt. post?
