    Retainer only or Valve Spring Kit

    Hello ,I have a 2012 RXT X260as
    I want to go the 8650 tune, need I only the Retainers or the valve kit too.
    have I other mods to make.

    i reflash my ecu to 8650 and i change only the retainers,I put titanium retainer.Im going out with my rxpx260 next sunday if the weather is good. i let you know

    you really should be running a dual spring and titanium retainer setup.

    Thanks to all, I'll buy the Springs and Retainers.
    Are there any problems with the Valveseats because the seatpressure?

    FYI: His ski already comes with dual-springs as OEM. However, swapping them as already pointed out is a good thing IMO.

    If you only ride glass smooth lakes type water, changing only to titanum retainers should be enough. Personally, I prefer the tighter control a stiffer spring provides. If you change both, expect to lose 100-150 RPM!!
