    R&d tune

    Looking at getting an r&d tune what else would I need to do? Do I need to change my injectors or anything like that ?

    I would not use R&D. Vtech is a better choice for reflash.

    knowing what i know now, i agree with this 100% Im not saying its a terrible choice, but i have fought with r and d to fix one small part in my tune and they just cant get it right, and being down for a week at a time gets so old. Go vtech and dont look back

    Ok i will look at going that way for the v tech tune is there Anything I might need be side the flash ?

    a way to monitor AFR's would be next if you plan to add more boost later on. if you just want to get past the limiters you should be ok.

    Nooooooooo! If you don't replace your injectors and your flywheel bolts and constantly monitor your afr's while your out trying to just enjoy riding then your ski will blow up and sink. I'm probly the only idiot here running the R&D tune with no issues. Had one little problem the first reflash but Glenn was all over it and got it resolved with 2day shipping. Been running 8400+ @77-78.4 all winter long without a single issue. It's funny because the Yamaha guys swear by R&D tunes and some in the mid 80's with perfect afr's but over here in the seadoo world it's either V-tech or if your rich and have 10k to throw at a water scooter then Motec. BTW what ski do you want to tune?

    Well I am trying to figure what tune to go on my gtx 215 right know I have the fizzle ic running the et127 riva 3in air 42 injectors and the 15/20 solas prop with 3mm bent to dial in I removed the opas and also have riva grate and riva rear exhaust just tring to figure about my next move my speed right know is 73 by gps

    With all that I think I'd go with Vtech, the data logger, and AFR regulator. Then get a custom tuned map for your ride. Nothing just out of the box is going to account for all that.
