    14/19r or 15/20r?

I have searched and am getting mixed answers.. Some say 14/19r, some say 15/20r, don't know which to go with..

07 RXP with X charger, Riva air intake, STOCK intercooler, 42lb injectors, Riva exhaust, 14/19r.. Handling mods (r&d grate, sponsons, umi, etc. etc.)

Just pulled my jet pump to rebuild and found my 14/19r cracked all the way through the hub.. Gotta replace.

The current prop (14/19r) I've ran for a couple years with the X charger, over 150 hours or so.. The WOT rpms are 8100-8160.. Afrs at 11.8-11.9 at WOT at those rpms.

Do I replace with a 14/19r or a 15/20r? I am not planning on going external intercooler anytime soon, keeping stock intercooler.. So I want a prop for "now", not "you'll want this when.." Would a 15/20r kill my rpms and speed? I still want and thought that the ski should run around 8100 and would like a drop in prop.. Let me know, 14/19r, 15/20r, 15/19, some pitch 3-blade skat?? thanks guys

    TJ

And it won't kill my rpms? I'm already at 8100ish.. Surely a steeper prop will lower that? No?

Thats what I was afraid of.. I'm not sure which prop to get
some say go 15/20 and some say it's too much prop

15/19? Or stick with the 14/19?.. The 14/19 has me at 8000-8160

yes the 14/19 and 15/20 are different castings. Get the 15/20r had a feeling you split the prop in your last post.

The rpm will go down but if you'd adding an ex IC. That's 200-250 rpm right there

Ha, sure enough had a crack all the way through.. Why get the 15/20r if my rpms are going to go down?... -200-250 would put me in the upper 7000 range.. Why would I want that and not 8100ish? I am not planning on going ext. intercooler now or in the near future for this ski

I am keeping the stock intercooler, not going external intercooler at this time or anytime in the near future on this ski.. I need a prop for now, not a prop that I'll need to add more mods, I like the ski how it is and am not going ext. intercooler at this time so I need to find a now prop, and keep getting mixed answers on which prop to go with.. I don't understand why I should go 15/20 if it's going to kill my rpms and slow me down.. I'm just not understanding why, please excuse my frustration

if that is the case, i would use the 15/19 as it is the same casting as the 15/20, it will turn the same rpm as before. Side note, i see you're in middle river, i used to live in Bel Air Md. and went to fairly creek a lot.
