Also you need an adaptor for exhaust. Your 09 SHO is easier http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=1087

Yes Wideband is highly recommended with stage 3. Better safe than sorry

I used a MTX-L gauge on my 2009 FZR. Very nice unit and easy to install. You will also need the adapter mentioned above: http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=1087

To install, you'll need to tap into a switched 12v source for the gauge. The best option, IMO, is to tap the red/ yellow wire behind the front storage wall (pictured below). There's lots of threads on mounting, installing, AFRs, etc if you do a search.

Do you understand why you would need a wideband monitor?

This is used to monitor your air/flow ratio. Specially to ensure you are running stoich. You run this thing lean and you very well may do some serious damage.

This will also come in to play with your fuel pressure regulator.

I suggest doing some reading and homework as to understand exactly what you are adjusting and the why behind it.

You want to shoot for 11.6 to 12.2 air fuel ratio on the gauge while at WOT (Wide open throttle). Any leaner (Higher number) will not be good and can melt down shit. Any richer (Lower number) you are just compromising power, wasting fuel, and too rich can wash out cylinders. Only start out with 2-3 second bursts while watching gauge to see where you are at. PLEASE keep in contact with us while you are testing to ensure you are doing this correctly. You will need a fuel pressure regulator to dial in your fueling if your wide open throttle AFR is not in the window I have given you. (There are other ways but they do not concern you at this point).
