    head girdle

    never got an answer why polaris put the tie bar on the twins?buddies gonna fab up a version for a triple to do the same thing anybody else interested in one?

    A pair of bars on the triples would get rid of the need for a 1 piece head cover.

    Also, believe it or not, the vibration was worse on some of the twins than the triples. Richie told me that on the single carbureted twin models, they would actually vibrate the choke ends off. He will sign on later and tell us more he said.

    Apparently the two cylinder Virage i 800 engines tended to shake the TPS sensor to death even faster than on the three cylinder engines. 777cc twin motor.

    Do the Octane engines also have a lot of shake?

    I thought my 700 was a pretty smooth running engine. The problem is probably more the frequency of the vibrations.

    would need to go 25 for a deal,would be unpainted,gonna be modeled off the 700 one with the thicker middle section stretched.mine for free cost and shipping to anybody else.

    i like this set up we had a similar one on the 1000 Tripple big bore xcr, really ties in all three cyl nicely. It was billet.
