    Water in hull...

My dad took out the RXT today. He left the ski on the dock for 2 hours while he packed up to come home. When he took the ski out of the water, he said water came out of the drain plugs for a good 30 sec to a minute.

I'm thinking the drive shaft boot might be loose?

I'd check for a leaking hose; intercooler etc. If it were the seal you probably woulda had a lot more water and it would have been more noticable, if not sunk. You could always just "fill" the hull up with water turn it over and see if it leaks.

    that's just my $.02

Carbon seal is a problem area as well. Might check on those motor mounts while your looking too.

Isn't the carbon seal inside the drive shaft boot area?

I'm a little confused by this. Can you explain it better?

Hmm...it's not that hard Keith. Uh...what goes in must come out? If it leaks in the hull guess what putting water inside the hull while sitting on the trailer will doo?

Remind me not to let you diagnose my ski...

I was running on 3 hours of sleep yesterday.

    Totally makes sense now.
