    hi has anybody used the new skat dual impeller

    Has any one used or tested the skat dual impeller also do they fit in your standard jet pump looks weird like 2 props stuck on top of each other

    love it, loose a little top end on flat water, but, pulls like a mag pump in the chop.

    I have experience with a dual impeller on both a honda turbo and a SHO yamaha.

    Using them for flyboarding. I have not tried to use them to propel the ski before.
    The reason we need them for flyboarding is because normally when riding the jet ski water is pushed into the pump by forward movement. So the pump has a supply of water to keep pushing. When flyboarding the ski is not moving that much. So it cavitates, the first impeller on a dual impeller charges the second impeller with fresh water to push.

    if you dont have any cavitation dont waste you money stay with what you got ..

    They are used for hydro flight sports as per the reasons above but the skat was developed for racing it's like lowering the gear wheel in the diff on a car better acceleration less flat out. Zapata have developed a new prop specifically for flying which is different (details limited at present)
