I assume your talking about wave jumping sort of stuff? If so I'd look at coco tunnel mod, L13 cone, sponsons, and Jims plate....

Not 100% sure what you mean by trick riding, but if you're doing things that put extra stress on the FZS (for example wave jumping) than a BOV will help preserve the clutch. I personally use the riva HKS BOV kit on my 2009 FZR. In terms of other mods: air intake, manifold upgrade, and ff exhaust will improve performance-- but not sure what your goals are with "trick riding."

Good luck riding hard, I tried riding my fz like I rode my vxr and GP1200 and killed a clutch in 10 hours. I had to cut back my aggressive riding a $400 clutch every 10 hours kills the fun.

vx skis are great jumpers. FX you have to be going a lot faster to get it pop, and its a lot heavier coming down. Ive been is some stupid air on VX's in key west harbor. But they dont have the power like a SHO does. One ski jumps the waves, while the other one literally propels itself off the wave like a freaking rocket.
