I wouldn't NOT buy an SVHO FZR because of a reported problem here and there. Newsflash....all companies will have reported problems. That's how life works. If I had to recommend any brand PWC without reported issues, I would not recommend any.

Do the 2014 and 2015 models differ mechanically or was it just a "bold new graphics" year? I love the 2014 blue and black fzr, I think its gotta be one of the nicest things yamaha has done to date.

My neighbor has a 2014 fzs with just over 60 hours and the thing has never given a single problem. I think you'll be happy either way, IMO yamaha makes the most reliable machines in the industry and they really never fail to impress me.

for the FZ's the biggest change is the new hull material. The FZ & FX now use the nano2 hull material so they are lighter. The FZ save just over 30 lbs and the FX saves a little more in weight. I went with the 15 FZS as I wanted the white
