Red Transparent cover - water ingress- pxpx 2014
mmmmmmmm End of February and .... YES ..... Got my , new to me , RXPX 260 RS.
Needed washed before storage and now have water beads inside the Red Transparent cover on the front hatch.
Anyone know what screws/nuts to remove to access and clean it ?
Is there a fix ?
Seems a little silly that every outing I need to strip and clean this thing.
As always thanx in advance
PS I tried the 2 black hex's on the top but something else was holding it.

Congrats on finally getting your RXPX!!! I know you've wanted one for a while. Did you get rid of your GTR or do you still have that too?

I bought the dealers friends RXP only 10 hrs.
Now I have to wait mmmmm 6-8 weeks for the weather to change.

FYI mine would be covered in condensation on the inside after every run. I finally got fed up and vinyl wrapped it.

Since getting my RXPX I've watched a few u-tubes and all seem to actually leave this part off.
I was thinking silicone lol............... but dropped that idea as unless done 100% correct it would look awful and if ever damaged it would break your heart peeling it all of.

Thought of that but ... its s new Ski eeeerrrrrrr I just couldn't do it.
Near my home we have a bombardier factory making wings for the same company ...
I took a chance and showed them the red cover... He had it for a few hrs and fabricated a tiny silicone bead ( a bit like whats on your shower door BUT A LOT SMALLER) it's also opaque red and unless you look real close it's virtually invisible...... asked him how much he chased me out of the place lolololol
I fitted it today ... not easy very very fiddly ... but it's on and hit it with the hose
Totally dry but I will say it might flex during actual riding so i'll let you know in a few weeks if it really works.
