Best way to clean out head pipes Pro 785

Mag cylinder on one of my Pro's is overheating. The water jackets on the head pipe are clogged with hard calcium. Tried lime away, hot tanking, Anything I'm overlooking ?

Perhaps you could pump an acid or acid mixture through the water jacket. Use a small pump and just circulate the fluid until the calcium has dissolved.

High school chemistry time to figure out which acid would be effective without eating into the metal surfaces.

ya,was thinking of a acid, not sure what acid to use. Right now have the head pipe soaking in mutric acid, maybe better to just buy a good used head pipe ?

If the pipe is aluminum the acid may damage it. If its stainless its probably ok.
