    Bilge Pump installation

    Hi All,

going to install an 1100gph pump with a float switch. Will be connected to 3 way switch. Just looking for ideas of bilge outlet installation locations. Would like to be able to view any discharge so rear exit is out. Was thinking of mounting in footwell or just above so can see whilst riding.

    Where have you mounted yours.

Wire it straight to the float switch and leave out anything else. That way you only need to run one + wire from the battery and a second one to the motor for a ground Make it simple and self sufficient, adding a switch it just one more thing to break.
