This is what you need. R & D YAM. GP1200R/GP1300R/XLT1200 D-PLATE. Check your compression and make sure you did not hurt the engine.

That should take care of it. but you need to make sure that the messed up catalytic converter did not take out any of your cylinder so do a compression check.

    jesus christ

I would recommend the Riva D plate for a 1300, the R&D works better for the 1200 IMO

and NO, the chip will not work with an 05 and later GPR

most 05-08 work without the chip, but if the alarm sounds you will need a 2K or 2.2K ohm resister

also the cat is on the exit of the exhaust, so there is pretty much no way broken material it can get into the cylinders, but take an inventory of the cat when you pull it out to make sure none of it is stuck down in the pipe

I blew and engine because of that pos cat. Previous owner said he eliminated it and I never checked. Broke apart during a top speed run and lodge sideways, plugging the exhaust. Get rid of it asap. On mine 07 1300r the chip didn't work. I used a 2.2k resistor.

Good Luck, I did not need the chip. After I removed the CAT & installed the D Plate. I did nothing and never had an issue.
