    2004 Polaris genesis i no mid throttle

    Hello everyone! Ok computer was checked and working well, no codes. ski starts and runs fine but no mid throttle? Idels fine .It stops at 3000rpm and bogs but steddy speed at 10mph. But when you push it full throttle it shoots like a rocket. Arround 7200 rpm looks like. And 68mph. New engine. Had the same problem with old one also.

    The emm said it was like in 2007 . What the guy told me this was from Emm repiar. But it looks just like ur avatar K447

    Hmmm. You did not check fuel pressure or check the stock regulator earlier?

    Reinforcing the fuel pressure regulator mounting is a must-do item on any Polaris Ficht watercraft. In my opinion it is not optional, it must be reinforced.

    You may or may not have dodged a bullet. Running a Ficht engine wide open with almost no actual fuel pressure almost guarantees the injectors were running the engine lean. Typically the PTO cylinder takes the most abuse from low fuel pressure induced lean burn on a Ficht engine.

    Carefully recheck cylinder compression as a start.

    If it was me I would be using a borescope to inspect the pistons, or remove the cylinder heads for a direct visual.
