    2014 FZS SVHO impeller damage

so today i took my ski in for 50hour service, i asked them to check few concerns i got with my ski

1.when i blip the throttle i have a slight misfire fire, also when i come off boost a slight shudder through ski, could any1 tell me if this is normal or a solution for this?

    2. couple months ago i noted a slight vibration through ski around 3000rpm (still present)

    3. this weekend i noted a noticeable when flushing the ski from driveline area

so dealer today have told my my impeller has slight damage so required changing before looking into other faults

any1 have any ideas, what propeller to use instead
    or how hard to change?

    any information would be great

I have a stock impeller that has never been run. 150.00 shipped in us.

If you are doing it yourself, changing the prop is a straight forward job. You'll want to pull the pump and swap out the props. You'll need to slide your ski back a foot on the trailer, pull the rideplate, disconnect the trim/ steering/ hoses from the pump, remove the 5 bolts holding the pump into the transom and then pry it out with a regular screwdriver. Once it is out, the stock prop can be changed with (I think) a 27mm 6 or 12 point box wrench.

you will need a spline tool to hold driveshaft while you remove impeller

+1 on the shaft holding tool as mentioned above by JoesyDFZS. Is your ski stock? If so, my opinion is to replace with a stock prop-- no need to spend the extra money on a solas if that is the case. You'll want to see if there is any damage to the liner which should be pretty obvious once the pump is off of the ski.
