Dealer never registered sale with Yamaha
So a couple months ago I had a cracked fitting on the suction bilge of my FZS. So my local dealer ordered the part and then when it came in swapped it in the parking lot. 5min in & out. (Purchased it from a dealer 45 minutes away as it was much better deal)
Today I get a call from my local dealer who finally has gotten around to the backlog of warranty paperwork and Yamaha came back to him saying the ski has not been sold yet. The Dealer I purchased it from never submitted it to Yamaha as being sold.
Anyone else have this happen?

I had that happen to me when I bought my Sparks but I caught i pretty quick. Turned out (according to the dealer) that the faxed paperwork didn't go through.

I wouldn't sweat it. As long as you have signed paperwork you're ok. It's on the dealer, not you.
