    Ultra lx motor "tight"

    I have a 2008 ultra lx. Took head off and sent to the machine shop to get broken spark plugs out. I reassembled everything and now #4 cylinder doesnt fire. Also motor sounds tight. wont hold idle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Could this be a timing issue? tensioner?

    So many things here, but the most obvious that I would think would be the cam/chain assembly and it's timing. I had my engine strapped to the bench with full and easy access to everything and it still took a few tries to get that timing and the assembly as a whole just right. I would tighten things up and notice things weren't quite lined up and it needed to skip a tooth. After all that things were perfect though. Was everything ok before the sparkplug breakage?
