    300x running weird after ecodriving

Hi there, was out with my 2011 300x (full stock exept for r&d scom)
ski was running good, then i activate eco mode and drive for about 20minutes. When i put it out of eco the ski wont go past 63mph (use to be about 72) it didnt feel like before i installed the scom, just no power on top? Revs about 8000 as normal.

    Is this normal?
Airtemp was cold, about 42 degrees F

Do you see 63 on your dash? At 8000 rpm, it's impossible you're only running 63 unless u have bad pump cavitation or prop problem.
running At 8000rpm, it doesn't look like a ECO related problem
Retest with GPS, don't rely on the speedo, it's not accurate

its with gps :/ is it possible that i got some ice in the pump and destroyed the prop?

Keep us posted what you find out. I know a guy who had some disappointing problems with the eco button..... manual says to listed for pinging/detonation while in eco mode for a reason.

have you driven it in ice? Check the pump and prop your problem is pointing there
If it was a problem with the ECO you wouldn't turn 8000
Your engine is running good rpm, the problem is at the pump or something is draging under

So theres exactly what the 2011 300x owners manual says.... i know for certain my friends had california 91 octane in it and pealed a portion of the piston off.... how exactly you're supposed to listen for the knock over the supercharger whine along with the wind and water noises is beyond me.

I wouldnt go into worst case scenario quite yet. Do all the regular checks first, pump/prop/plugs/intercooler etc. Could be totally coincidental problem that just popped up after your eco mode expedition.

Fwiw i would advise all to let the eco mode be your throttle finger. Keep it off the boost and youll be good on gas too. I rode 60+/- miles with 87 octane (got stuck) but never in the boost and had no issues...... keep us posted

Makes a lot more sense than those instructions, & what country is this book printed for, 95 OCTANE!! surely isn't the United States.
