Cool 2 days to the maide voyage

Got a GP1200R in January , which has been sat for 2 years with fuel still in it by the previous owner

So after a labour of love, rebuilding the carbs with genuine seals, pop off testing and pressure testing - they are installed and ready

Fuel lines replaced , along with filters etc

Compression is 130 psi on all 3 pistons, and everything else checked out by a proper PWC mechanic.

So on Saturday morning , putting on the wet suit, and a sea survival jacket, and chancing the local lake - current temp of the water is ~4 deg c Brrrrrrrrr

I am like kid waiting for Christmas Day lol

And you drained the fuel tank and put in new fuel, right? Premix or oil pump?

Going to the local ski club on day ticket - several mates with skis going to be there as we are setting up for the season.

Well after very cold day , my feet were totally numb, I am proud to say she ran sweet as a nut

Had to tweak the tickover as it was setup out of water, other than that , never missed a beat over 3 hours of riding , 40 Litres of fuel and £650 (~970 USD) of parts over the past 8 weeks.

Even managed to get the Go Pro mounted
