    New Riding Gear

So after spending the last couple of years riding and getting into the sport, I have decided to finally take the time to get the proper riding gear! I would love to hear what your guys experiences are! I have a decent amount of winter gear for the snow sports (Klim, TOBE, MotorFist etc.) but I haven't bought enough water sports gear! I just picked up a Jet Pilot Apex life vest! I hope it was good buy!

SEGP1200, The Jet Pilot Apex is pretty good ..... I assume you are a slender person. If you are just rec riding then a good set of gloves, goggles/shades. Should consider a neoprem shorts or a shorty. Truss me if you do fly off you do not the water enama. If you choose to CC race then a lot more gear will be needed. Let us know what kind of riding you are planning.

Vest is good ....ditch the slip-on shoes. First fall or fly off they will go farther than you. No real grip when you count on it. A Long John light weight wet suit is very useful in the spring & fall ... do consider. A shorty can be used all summer long. Again, a rash gard is great with Long John & shorty on those slightly colder/wendy days. The gloves are a must!

Roger! Glad I came on here and asked! I don't think I could have ordered a rash guard but I will for sure now! The last couple of years I have been riding around the Washington State area. Lakes and ocean. I was thinking I would pickup a short suit for spring and summer and a set of gloves.

Any of you guys ride in cold waters?? I am originally from Alaska and would like to start getting some of my hometown friends up there into riding. In the fall time up there, air temp can be anywhere from 35-50 degrees, so you can imagine what the water is like. To be honest, my plan is to get rid of the two Yamaha Waverunner 2 Strokers I have and trade them in for a SHO and do big trip up North.

Love the rash guards. That's all I wear up top most of the year. Long sleeve with UV protection.

Those look nice...and a little cheaper than the JetPilot's that I have right now.
