2004 RXP looking for some more giddy up....

So my ski is in good shape and I'm familiar with it so instead of selling and buying a newer one I was looking at getting some more umph out of it. A friend of mine has the riva stage 3, and I really like it but it seems grossly overpriced (I could be wrong). But is there a way to get similar performance with my ski without paying the "name brand" tax? Thanks for any help. I am positive this has been covered many times but there is just so much information to dig through, I'm looking for a direct answer.

How much you want to spend should be a good start

No set price really. Just looking to see what it would cost to get similar performance without dropping $6k for the riva parts. I will say that x charger and 42lb injectors I found new for $1300. Which seems very reasonable.

I'd be more concerned about changing out those shitty valves before I took on any significant modding.

I have seen them for 1K with injectors new, this guy is 1199.00
I think you could build one new cheaper with all the X wheels that have been replaced with ET's

many including myself have 42's sitting around. Anyway 1200.00 is better then 1300.00

I'd also vote for the X-charger and 42's. It's what I run on mine and I love. I bought my X-charger used, ran it for two seasons. Had it rebuilt last season and its been great.

    What he said.

I ran this on a previous RXP with an ET127 wheel instead of the X charger.
