something wrong with my 250x
When i am riding over 5,000 rpm's and turn left or right at more than a 45 degree angle, the ski starts to shake a little and there is a god awful noise (grinding, scraping, vibration) but then stops when turn back straight. could it be shaft? bearings? prop? to much water presure? has anyone else had a problem like this? if so have you been able to fix it? please help!!

Have you had your pump off?

Sure sounds like the prop hitting the sidewall or the bearings going bad. Could be the engine/pump alignment wasn't set up properly from the factory and you've got a very premature failure of the pump system. Get it back to the dealer and let them figure it out under warranty.

Oops...I thought by the title I'd see something like "is there a hole in my gas tank?" <j-k!>
Seriously, could it possibly be as simple as water hitting the sponsons? I know, it might sound ridiculous but it gave me a fit on one of mine till I heard it was a common issue...
As far as my technical expertise goes I cant think of any mechanical issue that would be created by just turning the nozzle...

Mine makes a noise/vibration at high throttle turns but it isn't a " god awful noise"

no, i have not had my pump off yet. I have had many skis but none of them have ever done this.
i know the engine has to work harder when in full turn.
i was thinking it could be the bearings.
