Protecting jet ski when tied to a dock?

We have two Seadoos now and realized we will now have to dock them when putting them in the water. I was thinking of using the big tube-like cushions but my wife is against that since they'll take up front storage while riding. I'm not that into buying the official Seadoo bumpers since it looks like you have to drill into your hull.

    Any suggestions?

Works well as long as the dock is not too high above the water level and the waves are not large.

I use the same as the above they work good only mod to them is use a bungee cord instead of the strap they come with it allows them to be easily be hook in under opposite rail and can quickly put them in the best location for the dock your pulling up to instead of having them set up for one location all the time on the ski but even stock they worked well.

Agreed. The stock strap setup is a pain to deal with.

I changed it a bit so one would just slip over mirror and the other would hook to rear tow point on ski.

Snap in fenders are the best! you're not drilling into the hull, you're drilling into the side rail.. it's a piece of cake!
they don't take up much room in the storage compartment and I put them on before I reach the dock.. the snap in fenders combined with the speed ties are the best investment I made on my RXT-X 260...all I do is pull up to the dock and use the Sea-Doo speed ties to tie up.. no more carrying bungees or extra rope and bulky fenders that either fall off or don't fit properly and risk scratching up my ski.

That is cool but could you have mounted the front one a foot farther forward?
