My new ski has the ECU issue... More crap to deal with!
Took my new 2014 310x SE out today for the first time. It hits 67 at about 7800 rpm and backs down to 62 and 7100-7200 rpm and stays there. I asked dealer to check into the ECU issue before I picked it up. No recall... Now I have to waste a bunch of time to take it back.

That sucks.... Hopefully Kawasaki stocks them so you can get it fast.

Sorry to hear, I have yet to take mine out and wonder if it will be the same way. I plan on putting a Riva SCOM on mine before I take it out which hopefully will stop the problem before it starts.

The dealer had the new ECU for mine in two days.

I called the dealer and told the the symptoms and told them about the stuff I have read on here and the said to bring it to them. They still had to contact kawasaki and send them the information for my ski and then they sent the replacement. I'm guessing the downloaded something from the ecu and sent it to them????

How did you like it besides the speed issue? I couldn't get the grin off my face after opening it up for the first time.

Dont see the big issue really.
you knew that potentially you were more than likely were going to have an affected ski..
personally ride it like that till 10 hr 1st service.
That way it gets a good breakin.
then take it back.
heck its only a drive and its done..
