    What Ski to Buy?

I am looking to maybe buying a new ski.
I was looking at the Kawasaki 310SE, 2014 or 2015 Yamaha FZS, or the Sea-Doo RXT 260X.
    What is the best one?
    I have a 2005 Sea-Doo RXT

Welcome to the Hulk. You can't go wrong with any of those skis.

the best ski for you depends on what kind of riding you do. what are you looking to get out of the ski? rough or smooth water? handling or straight line performance? do you plan to mod any?

It will be on a lake in N.Cal. Sometimes Rough in the afternoons. Smooth in the morning and evening.
Not sure about modifying it. Looking for reliability.
Which one can you mod the best? Don't want to go crazy maybe a couple little easy things.
Which one does ride the best in rough water?

Yamaha will be more reliable long term, easier and cheaper to mod. There are endless mods for the FZ. The Kawasaki will ride better in rough water.

Not looking to jack the OP's thread, but on the same subject, I'm about to drop the hammer on a 2015 Yamaha VXS.
I'd certainly appreciate any last pertinent input on these two skis. I've dug through the bowels of the internet for the past three months and it seems this ski fits my budget and comes from a reliable lineup. Is there anything i'm missing. @ 41 years old, I've owned my share of toys, but this will be my first ski, and I'd like to get it right the first try..
OTD price seems right @ $12,362. ? Any opinions.

    Thanks in advance/

I wouldn't go throwing that out there with a ski that has only had a year and a few months to prove itself. only a few months on this new hull. I've heard of several common problems with SVHO skis.

VXR/VXS is a great choice. I dont think you can go wrong. Its easily the best NA ski out there.

No need to split hairs. The core platform is as reliable as you will find and will long outlive most other ski manufacturers.
