Any advise on hitting 85 MPH

I am trying to hit the 85 MPH mark, any suggestions on what I can do next? Don't really want to go to a different supercharger wheel. my mods are listed in signature, this was my best speed so far and was consistent at this speed on three different runs, with 3/4 to 1/2 tank of fuel and my RPM was 8460.

    1. Get rid of the R&D plate and have Jim cut your stock plate.

    2. Tune the hull, meaning setup the pump, transom and ride-plate for smooth transitions.

    3. May look into the R3.

Get modified intake grate/ride plate from Dean Charrier or Jim...And work with a real custom tuner to dial it in...(possibly rev higher)

yeah I've got the hull dialed in pretty well with current setup, I have tried shimming ride plate a million different ways and the current setup has proven best. guess I need to try Jim's cut on my plate. Didn't realize Jim or Dean did the intake grates?

All you need to hit or pass 85 is for Jim to machine your stock plate if youre at 82.6 now.

Yeah I Don't think I'll gain 2.5 mph with just the plate. Keep in mind I am running the R&D plate currently and from what I've heard there is maybe 1 mph difference at best between the two. which if I can gain 1 mph there I will defiantly be trying it. Thanks for the input non the less.
