    Engine Side of Supercharger Shaft

Is the nut on this side of the shaft also left handed threads like the impeller side? I have heated the bolt and shaft and cannot get it to move.
That retaining tool sure is weak. Im installing my metal washers and ceramic bearings.

The problem I am having is that the retaining tool is twisting with the pressure I am putting on the wrench. Heat is not breaking it loose.
Any suggestions on other holding tools than that piece of SeaDoo crap?

    Whit,

Try heating the nut more, it will eventually come loose.

Hey Red Devil, how are things on your side of town? I have been putting the heat to it but no luck. I hope Jerry has that new tool ready to buy. This SeaDoo tool is cheap.

Like Stan said, use an impact gun and it will come right off.

if that doesnt work for you Harbor Freight has the 1 inch wrench that will fit on the shaft holder, same as the sea-doo tool but a little thicker so it doesnt twist b/c i had the exact same problem as you, i think this tool is to wide for the 05-06 spec clutches but it fits perfect on the 04. it has almost every size on it and the 1" is on the very end, mine has an orange handle... i dont kno if you have a harbor freight up there but the tool did the trick for me b/c i kept twisting that little sea-doo junk tool to... good luck with everything!
