2014 FX SHO Tow Valve Help

Hey guys. I know which line to install the valve in, but need some help.
1st, what is the ID of the intake hose?
2nd, How in hell do you get to the hose? I'm going to leave my exhaust baffles in, so it's pretty tight in there. You need skinny gorilla arms.

Is there an alternate spot to put the valve or clamp the line that is easier to get to?

    Thanks

Installing a valve is just another potential clamp to leak, or easy to forget & run with it still closed. Easier to use a good set of long nose clamping pliers (plastic or metal), and clamp the hose running directly to the motor. I even tied some orange tape to mine. For leaving hanging out past the seat as a reminder.

What he said! Buy some hose pinch pliers from harbor freight and call it a day.
