First Aid + CPR course for Boaters
I've been looking into taking a First Aid + CPR course for out on the water. There's currently nothing available for the Pleasure Craft world, only for those who earn a living on the water and have a Transport Canada Number.
I've been speaking to the guys at Boaterskills.ca and if there is enough interest, they will offer a course that is a Red Cross Standard First Aid course taught by a licensed Captain with emphasis on medical emergencies on the water.
The course is 14 hours and costs $115 including HST.
If they can get 8 - 10 people they'd be willing to schedule the first course in April. They can teach this from their location in Port Credit, or travel to another location if requested.

Would love to do something like this. 14 hours over how many days? evenings, full week/weekend days? Would likely drag along my SO

Most likely a weekend course as that fits most people's schedules.
