    Water Inside Front Cover

I am helping a guy replace his water logged 760 engine and while stripping it down, we discovered water in the front electric cover of the engine. The starter bendix is rusted as well as the magneto so that will all be replaced. Would the stator and other coil inside we bad as well or are they pretty resistant to water or should everything be replaced? I am trying to find some replacement parts on e bay for him but all the wire connections look different .

Yep it was there but must be bad. Engine is being replaced but was wondering if the electronics are still good since it sat in water for over a year. The starter bendix is shot and rusted.
