Choice of Plastics using Cover!
As some of know you I recently acquired my RXPX .... I'm in the Club Yeaahaaaaaa
Ordered cover seperately and covered the ski with it on Sunday.
Yes in the garage not moving ...
Today .. Wednesday....I had to mount the new Reg numbers for the Lake area and couldn't believe the scores it created in the Gel coat and upper plastics.
Has anyone else suffered this ?
I had to use a mild cutting paste to remove then polished
Cover now in bag not to be used again !

that doesn't surprise me which is why i have never and will never use a cover. its even worse when you are traveling. with it just sitting int he garage if you want it covered i would just get an old soft blanket.

Did you get the seadoo cover or aftermarket?

I bought a OEM cover for my 12 when I got it. I did not have scuffing problems, but the cover rotted out in 13 months. I bought a Poppy cover and never looked back. Unless 2012 was just a bad year for OEM covers, the newer ones suck as compaired to older covers.
