    Factory Cover expeirences

So are people seeing scuffs/Scratches with these when installing them and using them using the OEM RXP X covers? I understand they will when you use them while trailer towing but what about when you just put them on at home to cover the ski's from the elements? I just spent over $200 for mine and want to return it if in fact it's leaving blemishes on the hull. I though about using a sheet between the hull and the cover since I'm very particular of things like that....

Who's seeing scuffs just by placing them on when leaving them at home?

    M

I bought a OEM cover for my 12 when I got it. I did not have scuffing problems, but the cover rotted out in 13 months. I bought a Poppy cover and never looked back. Unless 2012 was just a bad year for OEM covers, the newer ones suck as compaired to older covers.

    Thats Me Mpleaver

I covered my ski with the proper cover for a few days and lots of light scratches appeared on the edges of the gel coat and the upper plastics
A light rubbing paste .. t-cut... removed them quickly and easily.
Personally I wont a cover again unless I have to.

    Good luck

I trailer with my OEM cover all the time and have had no issues. I also use my cover for storage in the garage and still no issues...Either that or I just dont see these scratches people are talking about?????

2012 RXPX, so yes. But then again I have own a black GMC pickup and have had a black chevy pickup, and I use to detail black limos for a living so I know what a pain black is to keep clean.. If it has a few light scratches then so be it.....
