FZR First Oil Change with Electric Pump

Sorry it's kinda long but you'll get the point. Bought this Stark Oil Extraction Pump ($35) a while back and finally got to use it for the first time. All in all I am very pleased with it. It doesn't sound like a high quality pump but it got the job done. Took about 15 min to pull 3 1/2 quarts out of the motor. I did not warm the motor prior to extraction but I will next time, it may have been a little thick! Now, taking the filter out without making a mess, I gotta work on that one!

Make sure the ski is level and put back the same amount that you extracted. The check the level.

Warming up the engine will speed things up tremendously. I run mine on the hose for 5-7 minutes before pumping. I use the Attwood 12V oil extractor.
