    Spark maintenance cost & repairs

    Hello guys
any experience to share about spark maintenance cost and repairs.
first 10 hours service? 50 hours service? 100 and 200 hours?
I read that spark plugs need to be replaced every 200 hours and to do so you have to pull top deck, how much dealer charge to pull and reinstall top deck?
also price to replace wear ring? pump bearing?
just to know if maintenance is cheaper than any other ski
    thanks

For me it is cheaper because I can do it all myself. Taking the top deck off takes me less then 10 minutes by myself. Being able to access everything is a dream. If I could reach into my 1996 XP the dealership would get almost 0 business from me. Wear ring, I think 80 dollars and takes less then 5 minutes. 3 bolts one screw. Get a VTECH tune and get your own computer and check codes. Buy the online manual and service products and you are set.

+1 This ski is by far the cheapest ski to maintain of the 8 different 4-strokes I've purchased since 2009. I change my oil and plugs about every 80 hours. It's easy to do and the kit costs like $40. Nothing else needed. Love the accessibility with the top off. Hilarious that Yamaha and some others tried to make the sealed top deck out to be a bad thing. I wish every ski was like that.

Cheapest to run too. There is a video on youtube showing how to change the oil without taking off the top deck
