    Best cam for my GTR???

    I can't decide what cam to run in my GTR, I would like to know what is the best proven and tested
    cam to run in my ski.
    Current mods
    -et70-145, -Riva Athena, -Riva Logger, -Solas 15/20.5, -4inch air, - id1000cc, - Riva cooler, - Riva box and exhaust, -Riva valvetrain and will ad lighten valves when doing cam.

    Go 29 cam and retard 2 deg . They work well with big SC .

    Surely there is better performing Cams than the 29. Any data for me pal?

    rapid cams anything, torx stg 2 either billet or regrind or Chris' cam

    What is your RPM limiter set at?

    It's at 8800rpm, once I get a cam and the valves done I want to be swinging my prop to around 9000rpm.
    I'm well aware of what option are out there I would like some insight on others experiences and gains over stock.

    I ran the XXX charger with the Rotax Racing B cam (4224) at 9000 rpm. Sorry, I don't have any test data, just seat of the pants experience. The B cam added some serious snap to the acceleration. The B cam peak performs at 9000 rpm.

    Fuel pump and pressure regulator... what do you have feeding your 1000cc injectors?
    Upgraded/improved intake manifold?
    Upgraded engine mounts?

    You are building a beast! Make sure it gets the fuel and stays in one piece when you pull the trigger.

    Stock engine mounts, no fuel reg just using the Riva Athena to adjust fuel and chasing a
    good mani. I was thinking Rotax cam but as you said peak performance is @9000rpm, I'd prefer a cam that peaks around 8500-8600rpm
