    Unhappy Jetworks Woes?!?!?!

went to tune the jetworks valve (fercho's method).... I was able to get the valve to open and close around 3,000-3,500 rpm.. however, the "pisser" connected to the bottom of the exhaust does not flow at idle... the flow happens when I get up in the RPM around 3,000 - 3,5000 rpm.... what did I do wrong?

The ski does not have any improvement on the low end, or in the holeshot... however the ski does top out well... I have a friend with a modified seadoo 951... he was getting me on holeshot all day long, his ski was doing 68mph, and mine was passing him pretty steadily... so im calling it 70...

I am not getting any signs or warning of over heating, and ski acts normal...

I have a video of the holeshot I am currently trying to upload to youtube... I will post link shortly

Ski is a GP1300R, re-inforced tunnel, brackets, riva exhaust, riva power filter, d-ring, sensor chip, fercho's version jetworks, stuft shoe, r&d ride plate, single bar intake grate(riva?), r&d 87mm exit 5%degree up nozzle... solas 13/19... everything short of engine mods essentially...

with the 13/19 and current mods... adding the jetworks should have me leaping out of the water at full up trim... and taking off like a boss at proper trim level... this is not the case.. so I must have done something wrong...

What do you mean by riva exhaust? The Riva stinger pipe or Free Flow? Did you install your Jetworks kit like this-

I have the blue freeflow tube,
The jetworks components were provided to me by a member on this forum... it is a silver valve, not blue like most ive seen... but the valve does function and opens up at 3,000 rpm...

some others have suggested that my 90 octane fuel, and non-premix, and not using the right oil could be causing me to bog down on launch.....

a guy on the facebook page suggested 40:1 yamalube on 87 octane... he said he had the same kind of sluggish take off until he switched to this....

yes I did use fercho's version... and I DID use this walkthrough, along with a slightly different walkthrough... The only thing I did differently, was to install a through hull fitting between the pump strainer and the jetworks valve... I did not care for a stealthy install... everything has its own lines and fittings....

So you are saying you "T"ed in between the pump strainer and the valve, and are dumping that water overboard?

@idle, there isn't much water flow in the exhaust, most water exits on top off the exhaust or by cylinders

here are pictures of my install... I must have done something wrong, because I followed this Diagram, and didn't use a T fitting anywhere... nothing splices into any existing GPR water lines....
