The RIVA/Solas Race Pump & Nozzle delivers increased acceleration & top speed along with reduced cavitation. Designed for high performance applications that exceed the limits of original pump efficiency. Features computer designed 159mm/14-vein stator section that is far more efficient than the stock 10 vein pump. Vein housing is constructed of high-grade stainless steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Utilizes standard pump impellers, OEM bearings, seals and drive shaft. Includes matched 14-vein nozzle with 84mm exit. Pump features a RIVA 159mm Stainless Wear Ring (part# RS33-159-SRX) for increased durability and performance. Fits most 260, 255 & 215hp iControl models.

    Key Features:
    Increased acceleration & top speed.
    Reduced cavitation through superior design.
    14-vein stainless steel stator section.
    Includes matching 14-vein nozzle.
Features stainless steel wear ring for improved durability.
    Utilizes standard 159mm pump impellers.

NOTE: Fits most 260, 255 & 215hp iControl models. Not for use on models with pump that bolts to ride plate (09-11 RXT/GTX S3 models).

It's very comparable to the rotax racing pumps . You are looking at better hookup and holeshot if propped properly. And a small top end increase. It shines in the chop ! You can feel it stays loaded much better than stock . Pump tunnel pressure comes down around 5 psi so if stuffing is a problem it will also help with that. A larger prop will seem somewhat smaller in this pump because of the 159mm stator .
For the money it's a very nice pump! At half the price of rotax racing you really can't go wrong with it. The rotax 18 vane pump may have a .5 mph increase over the riva but they both have a similar feel.

    ^ This ^

No personal experience on a 4tec seadoo but my prior ski I had a 14v Skat-Track Magnum pump and the difference in chop and white water is fantastic. I've also been thinking about picking up a Riva pump for my PX...but I feel going from 10v to 14v will not be nowhere as dramatic (6v vs. v14).

I run the Riva pump on 2 of my skis. I also have a Skat magnum pump and I personally like the Riva pump better. The pump makes the ski handle the chop so much better
